I'm expecting these to be really nice and dark, with thin, minimal veins and high lobes. Both parents are very vigorous growers, so I expect that same vigor to be passed on to the offspring.
The mother plant, GPH Carlabackiae self x NSE Portillae #2, is a stunner. Her high lobes and minimal veins, along with her elongated shape, are going to make for some beautiful babies.
The pollen parent, a papillilamum (Ralph Lynam x Ft. Sherman) x BVEP (aka antolokii; Black velvet eastern Panama) is a prime example of how well Pap and BVEP can go together. It grows like a weed, and its foliage is extremely dark with very minimal veining.
They are 1 leaf seedlings. These are growers’ choice since they are still too small to show unique characteristics yet. I will pick the largest in the order that I receive orders. Once they get larger I will list exact seedings for sale, but their price will be significantly higher than what they currently are.
