Why I made this cross:
I grew both of these parent plants from small seedlings. Out of dozens of plants that I grew out, these two were specifically selected for their dark folliage and very minimal vein patterns. This was my third attempt at this cross and I’m so excited that this one was successful.
The mother is a Papillilaminum ‘Fort Sherman’ that was bred to a Dark Forgetii and the pollen parent is a Forgetii bred to a BVEP (aka: Antolakii; Black Velvet Eastern Panama).
From this cross, I hope for seedlings that resemble the characteristics of both parents - closed sinus, minimal-stripey veins, dark foliage, and vigorous.
These are curretly germinated seeds. I will always select the largest and most healthy seedlings. These are grower’s choice since they are still too small to be showing unique characteristics yet. Once they get larger I will list exact seedings for sale, but their price will be significantly higher than what they currently are.
Shipping includes heat and insulation if needed. I ship out every Monday to avoid your plant getting stuck in the mail over the weekend. Orders placed through Saturday will ship on Monday. Orders placed on a Sunday are liable to either ship the next day or the following Monday (8 days later). I pack with care, but am not responsible for shipping delays and/or damages.
